HIGH-LEVEL MEETING ON BALOCHISTAN SECURITY AND OTHER ISSUES HELD UNDER PM SHAHBAZ SHARIF’S CHAIRMANSHIP

Quetta, August 29, A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to discuss Balochistan’s security and other issues. The meeting was attended by top officials, including Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandokhail, Chief Minister Balochistan Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar.
Representatives from various political parties, including Pakistan Muslim League (N), Pakistan Peoples Party, National Party, Balochistan Awami Party, Awami National Party, and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, also attended the meeting.
The leaders of the political parties briefed the Prime Minister on the issues faced by the people of Balochistan. The meeting discussed the security situation in Balochistan and the action against terrorists.
