QUETTA: The caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has stated that we are working on formulation of a comprehensive strategy for promotion of information technology in the province.
The Chief Minister was speaking on occasion of the high level meeting regarding Balochistan Digital Roadmap 2030 here in Quetta on Saturday.
All concerned high ups and government functionaries participated in the meeting.
He appreciated the enforcement of real time system management in Education and Health and said it’s results are wonderful.
He, however, stressed the need to extend the jurisdiction of real time system management in other departments as well.
The Chief Minister said that necessary steps would be taken to establish database system and its ownership at the provincial level.
He was of the strong view that better planning is possible in public interest including preparations of the budget with establishment of databank in the departments.
He said that improvement would be brought in the existing rules for formulation of the software of IT companies and establishment of the data centers.
In addition to this, there would also be marked improvement in educational system with establishment of the education eco system in the province.
He said that the data of a student from class one to the employment and livelihood through software like student life cycle.
He also said we would be reviewing the proposal of proposed project of B-pay for collecting the government taxes in the province.
He said that the modern techniques of IT could prove to be helpful for improving performance and that for performance evaluation.
