HEAVY RAINFALL CAUSES FLOODING IN VILLAGES OF KHALIQABAD, CROPS AND HOUSES DAMAGED

Khaliqabad, August 17, Heavy rainfall in various villages of Khaliqabad, including Kali Khurasani, Kali Karchah, Brinchan, Dabar, Sur Jamandzai, Surkh Para, Sardar Kot, Nagor Gahrezai, Khadabakhsh Zai, Sur Jamandzai, Pardozai, Yousaf Zai, Zehra Zai, and Gardono, has caused flooding in low-lying areas, resulting in significant damage to standing crops and houses.

The affected areas have been inundated, causing severe damage to agricultural lands, crops such as tomatoes, onions, potatoes, and other vegetables, and embankments. Mud houses have also been severely damaged. Furthermore, the surge in the main river has disconnected several villages, leaving residents facing severe difficulties.

The flooding has caused widespread destruction, and the local population is struggling to cope with the aftermath.
