QUETTA: The much-awaited Health Card Programme is scheduled to be launched in the Balochistan province today (Friday).
According to the official sources, caretaker Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Domki would inaugurate the programme.
It may be mentioned here that the Balochistan Health Card Programme had been planned by the Chief Minister Jamal Kamal Khan in year 2019.
The Health department sources informed that some 2.1 million families would benefit from the Health Card facility.
Under the Health Card Programme, the patients would be able to get treatment upto the cost of Rs. 1 million annually.
The sources said that primarily the Health Card Programme has been started for three years.
