The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has launched a crackdown on drug peddling and smuggling near educational institutions, arresting five suspects in eight operations. Over 223 kg of narcotics worth more than Rs. 2 crore were seized. The operations were conducted near universities in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, as well as other locations. Additional seizures were made at Lahore Airport and other areas. The arrested suspects confessed to selling drugs to students. Cases have been registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act and investigations are underway.
