Gwadar University Organizes Awareness Session on Drug Prevention

Gwadar, Oct 9, Gwadar University, in collaboration with the Anti-Narcotics Department, hosted a crucial awareness session on drug prevention. The event aimed to educate participants about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a drug-free society, particularly among youth.

The ceremony’s guest of honor was Gwadar University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir. Keynote speakers included Joint Director of Anti-Narcotics Force, Numan Hanif, and Senior Superintendent of Police Gwadar, Najeebullah Pandrani.

In his opening remarks, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir emphasized the vital role educational institutions play in combating drug abuse. “Our responsibility is to produce not only educated individuals but also responsible citizens who contribute to a drug-free society.”

The session highlighted the devastating consequences of drug addiction and the importance of collective efforts to eradicate this menace. Experts shared valuable insights on identification, prevention, and treatment of drug abuse.
