GWADAR: DEPUTY COMMISSIONER LAUNCHES TREE PLANTATION CAMPAIGN FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Gwadar: Deputy Commissioner Hamoodur Rehman, along with Deputy Conservator of Forests and Wildlife Yari Muhammad Dashti, formally launched a tree plantation campaign to protect the environment. The event was attended by District Police Officer Najeebullah Pandrani, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Sarbuland Khan, and other department heads.

Deputy Commissioner Hamoodur Rehman highlighted the dangers of environmental changes and pollution, stating that environmental changes are the most serious issue of our time, affecting every aspect of life. He mentioned the uncertainty of weather patterns, rising temperatures, melting glaciers, and severe storms as manifestations of environmental changes, which are also impacting coastal areas like Gwadar.

The Deputy Commissioner referred to recent stormy rains, floods, and coastal erosion, saying that the absence of trees is increasing the severity of heat. He emphasized the importance of tree plantation and encouraged others to participate in this noble cause.
