GSTA Stages Protest Against DEO Secondary in Larkana

Larkana: sep. 07 A protest demonstration was held by the Government School Teachers Association (GSTA) in Badeh city against the District Education Officer (DEO) Secondary and Higher Secondary, Gulbahar Magsi, after school hours on [date].

The protesters, comprising teachers from Government Boys Higher Secondary School, carried banners with slogans condemning the DEO’s actions. They claimed that Gulbahar Magsi’s tenure has led to the deterioration of education in all schools across San Larkana.

The teachers alleged that Magsi is a “stigma” in the education department and demanded his removal, citing his corrupt and rash behavior. They appealed to the Minister and Secretary to appoint a responsible and honest officer to replace him, hoping to alleviate the anxiety among students and teachers.

The protest aimed to highlight the teachers’ grievances against the DEO’s leadership and advocate for a change in management to improve the education sector in the region.
