Grand dharna staged by family,  traders, all parties, civil society  for recovery of kidnapped child

QUETTA: The grand dharna was staged by the family members of kidnapped child, Muhammad Musawar Kakar, traders community, all political parties and civil society at the Unity chowk on Friday afternoon.

The dharna was staged for recovery of the kidnapped child for the call was given a couple of days back at a joint press conference.

The leaders and representatives of different political, religious and nationalist parties as well as the traders and civil society including lawyers participated in the dharna.

They condemned the government for its failure in recovering the 10-year Musawar kidnapped on November 15 from the Patel Bagh area.

They said that the government has miserably failed to protect life and property of the general public in the province. They said that the incidents of kidnapping are occurring in the broad day light, but the government seems helpless over the situation.

They demanded of the government to act immediately and ensure safe recovery of the kidnapped child, otherwise, their protest would remain continued.

The leader of dharna committee and provincial President of Pashtoonkhaw National Awami Party, Nasrullah Zairay on the occasion announced that wheel jam strike would be observed on highways of the province on November 25.

He urged the transporters and general public to cooperate and keep their transports and vehicles off the road on Monday as a mark of protest.
