Govt working on digitalization of revenue record for establishing good governance: Asim Kurd

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Revenue, Mir Muhammad Asim Kurd has stated that the provincial government is working on digitalization of the revenue record of land for establishing good governance in the department.
He announced that the process of settlement of land would be started in Hub soon.
Mir Muhammad Asim Kurd was speaking to the media persons during his visit to Hub the other day.
The Provincial Minister Revenue said that the basic objective of his visit is to review the public complaints about board of revenue and settlement in the area.
He on the occasion said that the process of settlement would be completed in Hub district in transparent manner.
He said that the necessary directives have been issued to the revenue officers according to the settlement manual. During the process, no injustice would be made with any stakeholder during the settlement, the Minister Revenue assured.
He said that the credit of digitalization of the revenue record goes to the incumbent government.
He said that it is our firm resolve to remove the public complaints regarding board of revenue. In this regard, open courts would be conducted to resolve the issues and thus ensure good governance, he added.
Meanwhile, the Minister inspected the record room of settlements and got briefing from the concerned officials. He directed to the concerned to ensure preservation of the land record.
