Govt to ensure restoration of peace, protection of life & property of masses at every cost, vows CM

QUETTA: The caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has reiterated his government’s resolve to ensure restoration of peace and protection of life and property of the masses at every cost.
Mr. Domki was speaking to the media persons soon after chairing a meeting on law and order in Turbat on Monday.
Also present on the occasion were the caretaker Provincial Minister for Home, Muhammad Zubair Jamali and other concerned high ups.
Referring the Turbat incident, the Chief Minister said that the tragic incident of killing of labourers was occurred in Turbat few days ago.
He said that he wanted to come to Turbat same day the incident occurred, however, he deemed it necessary to send the bodies of those killed as well as their heirs and inured persons to their native areas.
He recalled that we sent the family members of the slain labourers and other injured to Multan by the special plane of Government of Balochistan.
Similarly, we dispatched the bodies of labourers to Multan from Quetta by special helicopter.
He said that the incident of Turbat was very painful for him and every individual.
He said that he had suspended the SP of Turbat soon after the incident.
However, the joint investigation of the incident is underway, and in today’s meeting, we have been provided an update on the law and order situation besides the progress made so far about the investigations, adding he mentioned.
He said that the decisions made in the law and order meeting are of important nature and as such they can’t be disclosed before time.
“However, I want to make it clear that those involved in the Turbat incident would be dealt with iron hands”, asserted the Chief Minister.
He also said that no one would be spared irrespective of one’s status.
The Chief Minister mentioned that he has issued directives to improve performance of the law enforcement agencies further for prevention of such untoward incidents in future.
He also said that the data of labourers coming from other parts of the country to Turbat is being collected, and all available resources would be mobilized for their protection.
