Govt paying special attention on construction of roads in remote areas: Dashti

QUETTA: The Secretary Communication and Works (C&W), Qambar Dashti has stated that the provincial government is paying special attention on construction of roads in the remote areas.
He was speaking on occasion of the briefing conducted on different projects of roads at the Commissioner office Loralai on Wednesday.
The Secretary C&W said that the purpose of his visit is to personally review the projects and expedite their pace to complete the same at the earliest.
He said that it is also the government’s priority to resume work on the roads projects where it was closed due to any reason.
Moreover, the buildings, which are completed, would be handed over to the concerned departments, he added.
He on the occasion directed to establish a complaint cell in all districts where general public may lodge complaints.
He also directed the superintending engineers of CW& department to visit the projects and ensure smooth work on them.
Earlier, he visited different projects being executed by the C&W department.
