Governor visits Bolan University of Medical & Health Sciences, maintains:

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that introducing BS programmes in nursing, medical laboratory, dental and surgery and other sectors by the first Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMHS) is a revolutionary initiative.
He said that new history would be written by producing around 2,000 medical experts annually from first Medical University of Balochistan.
He said that we would be able soon to produce thousands of medical experts and community health organizations in the health sector at the national level.
He said that the success of BS programmes is a proof of the resolve of the educational standard, most modern facilities and experienced medical faculty of the BUMHS.
The Governor was speaking on occasion of the visit to BUMHS here on Wednesday.
Also present on the occasion were the Vice Chancellor of BUMHS, Professor Dr Shabbir Ahmed Lehri and Principal Secretary to Governor, Hashim Khan Ghilzai.
The Governor was briefed about the overall performance and future course of action of the Medical University.
He said that a visionary administrator or politician can provide strong base to any higher educational institution through the vision compatible with the vast and modern requirements.
Then these institutions promote preventive methods, creative capabilities and critical thinking, he mentioned adding that the good institutions put positive impacts on the overall healthcare system.
Meanwhile, the Governor visited different sections of the university and inspected their working.
He appreciated the performance of Vice Chancellor and his team and asked him to take concrete measures for bringing more improvement in performance.
