Governor urges engineers to help overcome electricity crisis in country

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has stated that the engineering sector has special importance in development of the country and nation.
He said that we can ensure bright future by utilising the otherwise hidden potential of the engineers, as such they (engineers) should come forward and guide us to overcome electricity crisis in the country. The engineers can guide us as how to convert traditional electricity system on the solar energy.
The Governor was speaking to a representative delegation of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), who called on him under leadership of its Chairman, Engineer Najeeb Haroon here at the Governor House on Friday.
During the course of meeting, the issues being faced by the engineers and other matters of mutual interests were discovered.
Earlier, the Governor and participants of the meeting prayed for the departed souls of those martyred in the Mastung blast.
They also prayed for early recovery of the injured persons.
