Governor stresses need to set up Artificial Intelligence laboratory in Balochistan

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has stressed the need to establish an Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in the province as it would determine new avenues of innovation and modernity.
The Governor was speaking to the caretaker Provincial Minister for Information, Jan Achakzai who called on him here at the Governor House on Monday.
During the course of meeting, they discussed the latest political situation, role of modern technology in sustainable development, complete operationalisation of the technical institutions, besides other matters of mutual interests.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor said that actually technology is the basis of economic and social development and this is reality that the dream of bright future can’t be materialised without getting acquainted about the modern technology.
The Governor said that the bright future of Pakistan is linked with Balochistan.
Therefore, it is necessary to divert the attention of national and international investors towards the existing opportunities of profitable investment in the province.
