QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stressed the need to expand the services of blood donations in the province.
The Governor said that modem science has made lot of progress in saving the human lives through the blood donations.
He said that it has been made possible to save lives of several people at the same time through the blood donation.
He also called for establishing the branches of the Regional Blood Centers (RBCs) in order districts of the province.
The Governor was speaking to Director of RBC Quetta, Professor Dr Hanif Mandokhail who called on him here at the Governor House on Friday.
Also present in the meeting were the Directors of RBC from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhaw.
They stressed the need to promote mutual cooperation for meeting the needs of blood donations.
He said that the patients suffering from Thalasemia and Congo virus can also be benefited from the services of blood donations besides the normal patients who need blood in emergency.
