Karachi (October 27) – Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, on the occasion of Kashmir Black Day observed against India’s unlawful occupation of Kashmir, stated that October 27, 1947, remains one of the darkest days in South Asian history, marking the day when India deployed its forces in Kashmir. He emphasized that India’s oppressive tactics have not diminished the resolve of the Kashmiri people.
Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori added that for decades, the resilient people of Kashmir have bravely withstood the atrocities committed by Indian forces, with countless sacrifices made in their freedom struggle only strengthening their resolve. He further condemned India’s brutal actions and stated that these actions have failed to hinder the Kashmiri people’s quest for self-determination. He called on the United Nations and the international community to urgently address the grave human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
