Governor sees cooperation of developed countries crucial for removal of backwardness from Balochistan

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that cooperation of the developed countries can bear fruit for removing backwardness from the province and provision of the basic facilities to the people.
He said that we value the facilities being provided in different sectors by these countries a lot, and expect that the developed countries especially Germany would expand its cooperation in the health as well as education and technology sectors.
The Governor was speaking to the Honorary Consul General of Germany in Quetta, Mir Murad Baloch here on Tuesday.
During the course of meeting, different matters including law and order situation, besides the health care of people and provision of the clean drinking water were discussed.
The Governor praised the efforts of Germany in provision of education, health and clean drinking water to the people.
He particularly acknowledged the cooperation and potential of Germany in building capacity of the government institutions and promoting modern skills among youth.
The Governor stressed that special cooperation should be provided in the technology sector in view of the changes taking place in the region. In this regard, scholarships can also be offered to the youngsters of province by Germany, he opined.
