Governor Punjab meets CM Balochistan, agree on cooperation for viable public welfare projects; praises Bugti’s initiatives

QUETTA: The Governor Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan met the Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti here at the CM’s secretariat on Monday.
During the course of meeting, the Governor Punjab and Chief Minister discussed different matters of mutual interest.
Also present in the meeting were the Provincial Ministers Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Mir Asim Kurd and Mir Ali Madad Jatak.
The Chief Minister Balochistan apprised the Governor Punjab about the process of reforms continued in different sectors in the province besides the measures being taken for improvement there.
During the meeting, both the leaders were agreed on extending cooperation and continuous coordination for viable public welfare projects in their provinces.
They also expressed best wishes for the President Asif Ali Zardari for early recovery from the health issue.
The Governor Punjab on the occasion appreciated the Chief Minister Balochistan for initiating certain public welfare projects in Balochistan.
He also formally invited Chief Minister Balochistan to visit Punjab.
Earlier, the Chief Minister accorded warm welcome to the Governor Punjab upon his arrival in the CM Secretariat.
