Quetta, June 20: Governor of Balochistan, Mr. Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, visited the Civil Hospital Trauma Center on Jinnah Road, Quetta, today. During the visit, he was accompanied by Dr. Arbab Kamran Kasi, MD of Trauma Center, and Dr. Ismail Panizai, Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital.
*Governor Expresses Concern for Patients*
The Governor inquired about the well-being of patients at the Trauma Center, seeking their feedback on the facilities, medications, and cleanliness arrangements. He also inspected various sections of the Trauma Center.
*Addressing the Healthcare Needs of Balochistan*
Speaking to doctors and paramedical staff, the Governor acknowledged that nearly half of Balochistan’s population resides in Quetta, and patients from all districts of the province come to Quetta for treatment. He emphasized that the existing Civil Hospital Trauma Center is insufficient to cater to the healthcare needs of the province.
*Commitment to Improving Healthcare Infrastructure*
The Governor assured that the government is committed to upgrading the healthcare infrastructure in Balochistan, including the expansion and modernization of the Trauma Center, to provide quality healthcare services to the people of the province.
