GOVERNOR KP MEETS WITH FEDERATION OF PAKISTAN CHAMBERS DELEGATION, ASSURES SUPPORT FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS

Peshawar, August 16, A delegation of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers, led by women presidents of various chambers, met with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, at the Governor House.
The delegation expressed concerns about the lack of support for women’s chambers in the province at the government level and requested the establishment of an agricultural university in the northern districts by the federal government.
The delegation also apprised the Governor of the issues faced by the industry in the province, including the lack of infrastructure such as electricity and roads.
The Rawalpindi Chamber suggested the establishment of an incubation center for the training of businesswomen in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The women chamber officials proposed the establishment of community centers for skilled women and strong linkages between universities and industry.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi assured the delegation of his support for women entrepreneurs and stated that the development of the national industry is linked to the stability of the national economy.
