(Independent Report) Islamabad: Aug 08; Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi met with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Nawaz to discuss the overall security situation in the province.
The meeting, held at the Interior Ministry, focused on the recent incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly in Khyber District. Both leaders expressed concern over the loss of lives due to land disputes and agreed to devise a joint strategy to prevent such incidents in the future.
Minister Nawaz assured Governor Kundi of full cooperation in establishing peace in the province, stating that it is the government’s top priority. He condemned the misrepresentation of the clash between two groups, which led to increased tensions, and appreciated the effective measures taken by security forces to address the situation
