Peshawar:Aug. 02 (Independent Report ) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has said that women’s participation in business activities is encouraging. He emphasized that women involved in business can contribute to the country’s economic development and prosperity by utilizing modern technology. He also stressed the importance of better education and training institutions for women to increase their numbers in various professional fields.
Speaking as a special guest at the Women Achievement Award ceremony organized by the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Governor’s House Peshawar on Friday, the Governor said that Pakistani women can not only meet their financial needs but also earn significant foreign exchange for the country by engaging in international trade.
The ceremony was attended by Provincial Assembly member Jalaal Khan, UNHCR Regional Head Coffi O’Hennana, Hashoo Foundation CEO Haris Qayyum Khan, and President of the Frontier Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
