Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi attended the 281st Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai in Hyderabad/Bhit Shah. He paid homage to the Sufi saint and emphasized the importance of promoting love, brotherhood, and peace.
Governor Kundi said that Sindh is the land that has given the message of peace to the world. He added that Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai is a Sufi saint who has spread the message of love and brotherhood globally.
He emphasized that such gatherings promote peace and harmony in the country. The Governor laid floral wreaths at the shrine, offered special prayers for national security and development, and listened to the traditional raag at the shrine.
Speaking to media representatives, Governor Kundi mentioned that he had also organized a conference at the Governor’s House in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on August 13 to discuss the personalities of Khushal Khan Khattak and Allama Iqbal. He appreciated the Sindh government and Provincial Minister for Culture Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah for organizing the Urs celebrations.
