GOVERNOR KP ANNOUNCES PLANS TO PROMOTE PASHUTO LITERATURE AND POETRY

Batkhela/Malakand, August 26, 2024 – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has emphasized the crucial role of poets and writers in societal reform and development, highlighting Malakand’s rich literary heritage. He announced plans to host a seminar and mushaira at the Governor’s House, bringing together Pashto poets and writers from KP, Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, and Afghanistan to promote language and literature.

Governor Kundi expressed these views while addressing a one-day conference organized by the local literary organization, Merastyal Leekwal Mal, at a local wedding hall in Malakand. The conference was attended by renowned poets, writers, and professors from various districts of the province.

The Governor congratulated the organizers and assured his full support for the event. He acknowledged the importance of promoting Pashto literature and curriculum, and his administration’s commitment to supporting literary activities.
