In a significant move, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, met with a delegation from the Mahsud Welfare Association at the Governor’s House in Peshawar today The delegation was led by prominent tribal leader Rahmat Khan Mahsud.
The meeting focused on the association’s efforts to promote education and vocational training in the region. The delegation briefed the Governor on their initiatives, including the provision of scholarships to over 220 children. They also discussed the Waziristan Education City project and sought the Governor’s support for the establishment of a Danish school in Waziristan.
Governor Kundi assured the delegation of his full support and cooperation in their endeavors. He highlighted the government’s focus on vocational training and its efforts to provide skilled training programs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Additionally, he offered full support to the children of the merged districts in the fields of allied health sciences and technical training.
The Governor appreciated the services of civil societies in the education sector and acknowledged their contributions to the government’s efforts. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and civil society to promote education and vocational training in the region.
