Peshswar: According to NAB source in Peshawar meeting between DG NAB Waqas Ahmed Chohan and ISI Sector Commander, the issues regarding corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, under the supervision of caretaker government, was also discussed NAB sources said that copies of some reports were handed over to DG NAB by the Sector Commander.According to official sources, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ghulam Ali is facing very serious allegations of transfer, posting of district police officers & districts managments over all of districts Khyber Pukhtoon Khwa also in the education department and other provincial departments through bribery. Among these accusations, a serious allegation of corruption is very viral on social media, in which Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ghulam Ali is accused of having given Gohar Ali Khan, a senior most officer of BPS 20 former director of DPD, recommended by governor’s as director of Elementary and secondary education, while Gohar Ali Khan has been arrested by FIA and anti-corruption teams due to serious allegations of corruption in past.Apart from this, according to the official sources governor is also involved in the smuggling of sugar to Afghanistan. Many containers of sugar are being smuggled to Afghanistan on daily basis, due to which the price of sugar in province has reached one hundred and sixty rupees per kilo.Although the price of sugar per kg has been set at 95 rupees by the governmen.Last week, there was also a news circulated through some media forums that banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has demanded extortion from Governor Ghulam Ali.Similarly allegations were made against former governor Shah Farman.Although Governor Ghulam Ali denied these reports, he said that neither I have been asked for extortion nor anyone dares to do such a demand.
