QUETTA: The golden jubilee of St. Mary School Quetta was celebrated on Saturday.
The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar participated in the ceremony of golden jubilee of St. Mary School.
The Principal of St. Mary School, Asif John as well as other educationists, teachers and students of the school participated in the ceremony.
Addressing the ceremony, Governor said that it is no less than an honour to participate in the golden jubilee celebrations of a prestigious educational institution like St. Mary School.
He said that more than 20,000 students have studied and passed from the school during last 50 years.
He said that the people belonging to Christian community are peace loving and human friendly. Their services are commendable in education and health sectors of the province, he added.
The Governor stressed that let’s make joint efforts for putting the province on path of educational development.
