Governor for paying wholehearted attention on financial & educational discipline to develop public sector universities

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stressed we have to pay wholehearted attention on the best financial management and educational discipline for putting the public sector universities on path of sustainable development.
The financial management and education discipline provide the base on which the foundation of sustainable success is laid.
He said that the educational institutions can achieve the targets and objectives of long term success and quality education by allocating the resources in effective manner and following the rules and regulations.
He Governor was presiding over the 10th Senate’s meeting here on Thursday.
Those who were present in the meeting were included all the members of Senate of the University including Judge of Balochistan High Court, Mr Justice Abdullah Baloch, Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS, Professor Dr. Khalid Hafeez, Secretary Education, Hafeez Tahir, senior bureaucrat Abdul Saboor Kakar, Principal Secretary to Governor, Hashim Khan Ghilzai, Dr Hafeez Jamali, Finance Department’s Habibur Rehman Jamote, Justice (Retd) Kailash Nath Kohli.
The meeting discussed in detail the solution to the financial hardships being faced by the University as well as increasing the educational standard and creating partnership between the academia and industry and finding new means of income.
The Governor on the occasion appreciated the services of acting Vice Chancellor of Balochistan University, Professor Dr Zahoor Ahmed Bazai and his whole team for the university.
He said that the UoB team is doing well, but still we have to move forward.
Certain important decisions were made in the meeting following the suggestions and recommendations of the participants.
