Governor emphasizes upon increasing gross national product, build capacity, strengthen tax recovery system

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has underlined the need to increase the gross national product, build capacity and strengthen tax recovery system further.
The Governor pointed out that our natural resources are less, but social issues are more than them.
He said that it is a challenge for the government to maintain balance between the limited resources and issues being faced by the people.
However, the economic experts can provide guidance to meet the requirements of increasing population in the limited resources.
The Governor was speaking to the Provincial Minister for Finance and Mines & Mineral Development, Mir Shoaib Nausherwani who called on him here at the Governor’s House on Thursday.
During the course of meeting, the overall political situation of the country and province as well as transfer of fruits of development and government’s initiatives at the lower level and other matters of mutual interests were discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor stressed that we have to make serious decisions for stabilizing the country’s economic system besides benefitting the general public from the fruits of development in the province.
He was of the strong view that financial matters would be improved by reducing the non-development expenditures.
He also said that we can secure our future with mutual consultation and combined efforts.
