QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has stressed the need to strength the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Iran in different sectors further.
He said that it is need of the hour to strengthen the commerce, trade and educational relations between the brotherly countries Iran and Pakistan further.
He noted with contentment that there are close relations between governments of both the countries on one hand, and their people are also enjoying bonds of love and friendship.
The Governor was speaking to the Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Raza Amiri Moghaddam who called on him here at the Governor House on Tuesday.
During the course of meeting, the matters about bilateral relations between the two countries and other ones were discussed.
The Governor maintained that the present government is paying special attention on increasing cooperation with Iran in energy and trade sectors.
He said that we can’t ignore the traders of both countries for removing the issues of backwardness, poverty and unemployment.
He was of the strong view that we can overcome the existing problems of unemployment, backwardness and poverty easily by expanding the border trade and providing necessary facilities to our traders.
He also said that the trade and commerce activities can be boosted by improving border trade and strengthening border markets.
Meanwhile, the Governor and Iranian ambassador were agreed upon maintaining constant coordination in different matters, exchange of visits and continuing dialogue.
