Governor calls for paying full focus on imparting quality education to students

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has stated that the secret of the progress of developed nations lies in acquiring modern education and as such we should also pay full attention to impart quality education to the students.
The Governor was addressing the meeting of senate of Mir Chakar Khan Rind University here on Wednesday.
Those who were present in the meeting were the Vice Chancellor of Mir Chaman Khan Rind University, Professor Janosh Baloch, Vice Chancellor of Lasbela University, Dr. Dost Muhammad Baloch, Secretary Hafeez Jamali, Principal Secretary to Governor, Hashim Khan Ghilzai, Secretary Janed Anwar Hashmi, Additional Secretary Finance, Mumtaz Langove and other concerned high ups.
The Governor said that becoming member of University’s senate is a matter of pride and the responsibility too.
He said that the basic purpose behind establishing Chakar Khan University was to promote quality research based on modern knowledge.
He said that the better results can be acquired by making timely and correct decisions.
He said that we came to know about the given circumstances of the area as well as the steps taken for promotion of quality education and public issues through the meeting of senate.
This would also help prepare future course of action, the Governor maintained.
He said that at the moment we have to take effective sold measures to utilize the available resources and stabilize the University further.
The Governor on the occasion appreciated the untiring efforts being made by the Vice Chancellor of Mir Chakar University and his team for promotion of higher education.
Meanwhile, certain important decisions were also made in view of the decisions made in the Senate meeting.
