Governor calls for effective coordination among all concerned institutions to ensure free, fair elections

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has underlined the need for making effective coordination among all concerned institutions to ensure free, fair and peaceful elections in the province.
He said that it is our national obligation to conduct free and fair elections.
Under the given situation, Governor exhorted the law enforcement agencies and concerned departments to make tough security measures all over the province especially at the sensitive polling stations.
He said that this is not mere elections rather it is an exercise to hand over the authority of country and provinces to the real elected representatives by using right of franchise.
The Governor expressed these and similar other views in a statement issued here on Wednesday.
He said that it is very important to make effective coordination between all regional and district police officers and other concerned officers and the Election Commission so as to conduct the free and fair elections in peaceful manner.
He stressed that the responsibility of keeping strict vigil on the suspected persons in and around the polling stations rests with the government and general public as well.
He said that is also becomes national duty of all political parties and masses to ensure free and fair elections, besides the government and its concerned departments.
