Governor Balochistan Stresses Registration of Mine Workers for Better Facilities

Quetta, November 3: Governor Balochistan, Jafar Khan Mandokhail, emphasized the importance of registering mine workers to ensure their rights and better facilities. He stated that laborers are the backbone of the economy and deserve respect, protection, and empowerment.

Addressing a delegation led by Pakistan United Workers Federation Balochistan’s General Secretary, Pir Muhammad Kakar, Mandokhail said, “Registration of mine workers is crucial for providing them with due benefits and aid.” He urged the Labor and Mines Departments to maintain accurate records and update them regularly.

The Governor acknowledged the hardships faced by mine workers, who risk their lives daily to support their families. He vowed to address issues like poverty, inflation, and lack of basic amenities.

Mandokhail concluded, “I value each laborer as they are the pillars of our society, working tirelessly for their children’s dreams and aspirations. Their protection, well-being, and empowerment are our collective responsibility.”
