QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has called for taking sensitive situation of Wadh serious and finding sustainable solution to it.
The Governor said that nationalities and tribes settled in Balochistan can’t afford more tribal clashes, hatred and disputes, therefore, the religious leaders, social personalities, political elders should play their wholehearted role to resolve the issue in the best interest of province and its people.
The Governor was speaking on occasion of his meeting with chief of Balochistan National Party (BNP), Sardar Akhtar Mengal whom he met at his residence in Tehsil Wadh, Khuzdar on Sunday.
The Governor visited Wadh especially to meet the BNP chief and discussed with him the situation of Wadh, latest political situation of the province and other matters of mutual interests.
The Governor was concerned about the situation of Wadh saying that the situation is worsening in Wadh with every passing day.
He pointed out that the routine business has been badly affected at the local level while the children and women are facing mental agony.
Moreover, students and patients are also suffering due to the situation in Wadh, he maintained.
He said that if the steps were not taken to improve the situation in Wadh, then it may intensify the situation in Balochistan.
The Governor said that it is responsibility of the government to protect life and property of the masses.
