QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has underlined the need to take practical steps for development and prosperity of the province and country after acquiring proper education.
The Governor was addressing the participants of 12th National Security Workshop-Balochistan (NSW-B), which concluded here on Saturday.
He appreciated the holding of National Workshop and said that it paved the way for better understanding of the issues and hardships at the national and provincial level.
He said that there is a dire need to take practical steps after acquiring education and upbringing.
He said that it is the real knowledge that can bring positive and constructive change in the society.
Referring the NSW-B, Governor said that the real objective behind the workshop is to gather selective individuals of the society on a platform, increase their capacity and polish their hidden potential so that they may play their effective role in their respective sectors.
He said that fortunately the participants of NSW-B got the opportunity of learning from the able and experienced teachers besides exchanging views and experiences with the people from different areas of the country.
The Governor exhorted the NSW-B participants to utilize their knowledge and observations in their respective areas after completion of the course.
He hoped that the participants of workshop would be able to play their wholehearted role for promotion of peace, sustainable peace, brotherhood and harmony in the country and province. In addition to this, they would also play active role for sustainable political and economic growth and prosperity with their wisdom.
Earlier, the Governor distributed certificates among the participants of NSW-B.
