Inspector General National Highways and Motorway Police Sultan Ali Khowaja was the chief guest at National Highways and Motorway Police’s ‘Youm-e-Shuhada’ ceremony in Islamabad today. He addressed families of the martyred and distributed certificates of honor.

. In his address, the IG, NHMP recognized the sacrifices of 47 martyred National Highways and Motorway Police officials including one lady officer who sacrificed their life in the line of duty. IG Sultan Ali Khowaja thanked families of the martyred and emphasized the role of shuhada in the development of NHMP as an island of excellence. The IG remarked that our martyrs are our proud assets who have presented a practical example of courage and bravery. He expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs of NHMP.
