GOVERNMENT OF BALOCHISTAN DECLARES FORMER DEPUTY COMMISSIONER PUNJGUR ZAKIR BALOCH AS MARTYR

Quetta, August 15: The Government of Balochistan has declared former Deputy Commissioner Punjgur, Zakir Baloch, as a martyr.

According to a notification issued by the Home and Tribal Affairs Department of Balochistan, the Home Department has exercised its powers under Section 17 of the Balochistan Civil Servants and Employees Benefits and Death Compensation Policy 2020 and declared Zakir Baloch (BCS/BS-18), former Deputy Commissioner Punjgur, as a “martyr”.

Zakir Baloch was martyred by unknown terrorists on August 12, 2024, at RC D Road Kund Imrani Cross Khud Kocha District Mastung.

This notification is issued in recognition of Zakir Baloch’s ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
