Government of Balochistan decides to provide pink scooties to female employees, students of province

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has decided to provide pink scooties to the female employees and students, as an initiative to empower women of the province.
As part of the decision, the Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti gifted the pink scooties to a female student of Federal Government (FG) Degree Girls College namely Tahira Arif and a lady police constable.
Speaking on the occasion of handing over the pink scooties to the female student and lady constable, Chief Minister said that the scooties would be provided to the female students of universities, colleges and secondary schools in the province. He said that the implementation on the policy regarding pink scooties scheme would be started soon after its formulation.
He said that we want to make the women and students of province self-reliant and confident. He also said that we are determined to provide wholehearted opportunities to the women of Balochistan in all sectors of life.
Referring the appointment of women on the administrative positions in the province, Chief Minister said that at present five female Deputy Commissioners are posted in different districts of the province.
He said that the female Deputy Commissioners have been performing excellent administrative service in the province.
