What set this celebration apart was its inclusivity. It wasn’t just a gathering of distinguished alumni; it was a union of political leaders, tribal elders, and former and current students, together, they joined hands to pay homage to the institution that had profoundly influenced numerous lives throughout the past century.

What truly sets this school apart is its remarkable journey towards co-education, a trailblazing concept in our province. For over 15 years, this school has championed the idea of boys and girls learning side by side, defying societal norms and fostering an environment of equality and progress. This forward-thinking approach has empowered approximately 70% of our women, enabling them to receive education and actively engage in various sectors of life such as politics, education, and healthcare alongside their male counterparts.
From the very beginning, the zeal and passion of the school’s teachers, headmaster particularly the loving teacher Mr. Main Zahid, and the relentless dedication of Mr. Asif, a revered teacher, were evident of the grand celebration of Government High School Piralizai centennial anniversary. Mr. Asif, in particular, undertook a monumental task – he meticulously recorded the school’s history in the form of a book. This book didn’t merely narrate events; it was a journey through time, a tale of struggles, triumphs, and the unwavering spirit of this institution and its teachers and Alumina. This book covered many interviews with former students of GBHS-Piralizai. It told the stories of a large number of teachers and students, many of whom now hold important positions in the government and public sectors.
Reading the book, I was profoundly touched by the lives and experiences of three of our beloved teachers, which I feel compelled to highlight here –Late Master Abdul Aziz, Master Shah Wali, and Chaudhary Abdul Karim. The book also highlighted the early struggles of Malak Ayub Khan, grandfather of Malak Farid Khan, the chief of Piralizai, whose efforts laid the foundation for our school during the British era. Chaudhary Abdul Karim, in his role as the headmaster, led this institution to remarkable achievements throughout Baluchistan. Master Shah Wali, a revered science teacher, was not only an educator but also admired for his wisdom and kindness. During the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, he led the Janbaz force, a group of 900 trained tribal personnel, to safeguard the tribal regions near the Afghanistan border from Soviet forces.
During the recent gathering, communities from all corners of the district are united to honor the enduring success of our school. Distinguished speakers, including Malak Farid Khan, Engr. Zamarak Khan (former Minister), Haji Wali Mohammad- Author & tribal leader Divisional Director (Education), DEOs, DDEOs, and other respected figures, praised the institution’s rich history and its revered teachers. Their unwavering dedication was acknowledged, highlighting their pivotal role in shaping generations. The Piralizai tribe, credited for this educational oasis, was hailed as the most peaceful and education-loving community in the district, exemplifying the spirit of progress and harmony.
Government Boys High School Piralizai stands as a testament to the power of education, unity, and progressive thinking in district kill Abdullah. Its story is not just one of academic excellence but also a saga of breaking barriers and inspiring generations to come. In a world of possibilities, this school continues to be a guiding light, shaping dreams and transforming lives in District Kill Abdullah.
Lastly among the spirited participation in the grand celebration of Government High School Piralizai’s centennial anniversary. Everyone has acknowledged the efforts of the Head Master Mr. Attaullah, Senior teacher Mr. Main Zahid – whose hard work, coupled with the love and sincerity he poured into his tasks and the relentless efforts of Mr. Asif whose book amazingly showed our history. He worked really hard and made it exciting. It felt like the old times and all the intelligent things people knew back then came alive for us.
