GoB grieved over martyrdom of Rangers cops in attack of miscreants in Islamabad

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has expressed grief and sorrow over martyrdom of the personnels of Rangers in attack made by the miscreants in Islamabad.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the spokesman of provincial government, Shahid Rind expressed condolence with the bereaved families of martyr cops of Rangers.

He said that personnels of Rangers embraced martyrdom while performing their duties.

He said that the incidents of torturing personnels of Rangers taking law in their hands by the armed groups are condemnable.

He said that the attack on federal capital by the armed groups in the name of a so-called party is matter of great concern.

He said that there is nothing above than supremacy of law, and as such stern action is needed against the elements involved in the violence.

The spokesman also said that the citizens of Islamabad are being made hostage under the garb of protest.

He questioned that what protest is this to subject the state personnels to torture taking law in hand.

He stressed to take action against the elements involved in the violence, according to the law and constitution.

He also demanded to lodge FIR against the elements involved in killing of the cops of Rangers, who otherwise were deputed for restoration of peace.

He said that the common citizens of the country and security personnels can’t be left alone on the mercy of armed groups.
