GoB decides to initiate Chief Minister Initiative of Health on Wheels in Balochistan

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has decided to initiate the Chief Minister Initiative of Health on Wheels in order to provide healthcare facilities in remote areas of the province.
The CM Initiative of Health on Wheel service would be started from the native district of Chief Minister (Dera Bugti) in collaboration with the Indus Hospital.
The decision to this effect was made during meeting of a delegation of Indus Hospital with the Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti here on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the delegation of Indus Hospital briefed the Chief Minister about the proposal of CM Initiative of Health on Wheels in the province.
The Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to benefit from the experiences and expertise of the Indus Hospital in order to provide health facilities and bring improvement in them in Sui and Baikar areas. He also opened doors of his personal residence for the management of Indus Hospital.
He directed to start the Health on Wheel initiative from his native area, Baikar.
Meanwhile, the Indus Hospital delegation also briefed the Chief minister about upgradation of the GDA Hospital in Gwadar.
The Chief Minister also directed to remove the hurdles in making the Pak-China Friendship Hospital operational for the patients in Gwadar.
The Hospital, it may be mentioned here, has been established with assistance of Chinese government.
