GoB annrounces to introduce biometric attendance & face recognition system in Govt offices

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has announced to introduce the biometric attendance and face recognition system for the attendance of government employees in the offices.
In first phase, the modern system of attendance would be enforced in the Civil Secretariat.
This was announced in an official handout issued here on Wednesday.
Needless to mention here that the very initiative has been taken on directives of the Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan for ensuring timely attendance of the government employees in the government offices.
According to the handout, the DDO would present certificate of attendance of the employees every month.
Afterwards, the concerned treasury and AG office would release the salaries of employees.
This initiative would help ensure timely attendance of the government employees in the offices besides resolving the problems of the general public promptly and effectively.
