Goader, August 27 – The All Parties Alliance Gwadar has expressed concern over the prolonged electricity crisis in the region, stating that the government has failed to provide electricity to the people.
The alliance criticized the government for its inability to address the issue, despite claims of progress. They argued that the people of Gwadar are being collectively punished and that the government’s promises have proven to be false.
The alliance demanded that the government provide electricity from the national grid, citing the presence of power generation projects in the region. However, KESC officials expressed helplessness, citing the long transmission line as a major obstacle.
The All Parties Alliance Gwadar has appealed to the assembly members from Makran to take responsibility and raise their voice against the electricity crisis. The meeting was attended by representatives from various parties, who expressed their concerns and demands for resolving the issue.
