QUETTA: The Advisor to Chief Minister for Environment and Climate Change, Nasimur Rehman has expressed deep concern over the issue of global warming saying that it is severely affecting the province.
He warned that if we didn’t prepare policies to make ourselves compatible regarding climate changes and didn’t change our living style, then the severe issues would be created in future.
The Advisor for Environment and Climate Change while speaking to a delegation who called on him here on Friday.
He said that if we didn’t mend our way and change the life style then we may also suffer from the food shortage besides facing serious issue of water scarcity.
He stressed the need to pay utmost attention and importance to this sector so as to make policies based on the innovation and prevent the complicities occurring due to the climate change.
He said that he desires to make the policies of the department compatible with the modern day requirements and take every possible steps for provision of resources.
