Gears Up for Grand Independence Day Celebrations Across Lahore

A meeting convened at the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) headquarters, led by Director General Muhammad Tahir Watto, focused on arrangements for Independence Day celebrations.

The meeting encompassed plans for the flag hoisting ceremony at Race Course Park on August 14, as well as the strategic placement of billboards and streamers throughout the city.

Among the key decisions reached during the meeting was the allocation of plants to be distributed among Lahore’s citizens. These plants will find homes at prominent locations such as Liberty Roundabout, Allah Ho Chowk, Bekheywal Morr, and Istanbul Chowk. Notably, a captivating circus is set to grace Greater Iqbal Park, promising top-tier entertainment for all visitors.

Prominent figures in attendance included Additional Director General Safi Ullah Gondal, Administration Director Musa Ali Bukhari, and other participants.
