Provincial Advisor for Information Technology Gilgit-Baltistan, Shireen Zaman, inaugurated the Software Technology Park in Hispar Nagar. Addressing the occasion, she said that the current era belongs to information technology, and the provincial government is taking serious steps to expand and develop the IT sector.
The establishment of the Software Technology Park in Nagar will provide the best internet facilities to the youth, enabling them to earn a living through this facility. She added that the Gilgit-Baltistan government plans to establish similar parks in all districts of GB, considering its resources.
Shireen Zaman emphasized that the youth of Gilgit-Baltistan should come forward in the IT field and earn a living from it, assuring that the government is ready to cooperate. The establishment of the STP Park in Hispar Nagar is a gift from the provincial government to the educated women and youth of Nagar.
Provincial Minister for Social Welfare, Population, and Women’s Rights Gilgit-Baltistan, Dilshad Bano, said that there is no doubt that the current era belongs to information technology, and the GB government is taking practical steps to promote IT in the region.
