LARKANA : Yesterday, Sindh Graduates Association (SGA) inaugurated a free medical camp for diabetic patients in memory of Jamaluddin Ahmad Dawoodpoto, a well-known senior journalist of Sindh and former Secretary General of SGA Sindh, in Nodero, wherein District Council Larkana Chairman Ajaz Ahmad Laghari has announced that with the efforts of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other leaders of PPP , the skin unit will be opened in Nodero within a few months.As NICVD will also inaugurate a chest pain ward while efforts are underway to establish a trauma center. Such an announcement was made by the Sindh Graduates Association in Nodero inaugurating a free medical camp for diabetes patients in the memory of Sindh’s famous journalist and former Secretary General of Sindh Jamaluddin Daudpoto and visiting the camp along with visiting the patients. He also found out the details about the facilities from the doctors, after which he addressed the ceremony. He further said that the journalistic services of Jamaluddin Daudpoto cannot be forgotten, he raised the important issues of Sindh to the international level while sitting in Larkana and took efforts to solve them. Mohammad Anwar said that Jamaluddin Dawoodpoto was a big name in the world of journalism whose writings were very effective. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Khuhro said that Jamaluddin became the general secretary of Sindh Graduates Association during the martial law period of General Zia and at that time no one accepted the position but Jamaluddin Daudpoto not only held the position but also did practical work through great struggle. Show it. Fahad Jamal, son of Jamaluddin Dawood’s grandson, said that the Sindh Graduates Association organized a camp in memory of our father, it is a great work. Diabetes is a very dangerous disease which can lead to other diseases, so not only should it be treated but people should also be made aware about it. Muhammad Sharif Abro, Mukhi Lokchand, Sarfraz Mirani, Tawfiq Bhutto, Ahad Jamal, Samad Jamal and others were also present on this occasion. While Dr. Nadeem Korai, a diabetes specialist, examined more than a thousand patients who came to the camp, conducted tests and provided free medicines.
