Four Women Killed – Several Injured in horrible road accident
SHIKARPUR: A terrible road accident occurred between the Rekshaw and speedy troller at Madeji – Shikarpur Indus Highway Road near Ashhi Maseet in the jurisdiction of Madeji police station on Tuesday in early hours which claimed four Women died on the spot. While three others received serious injured.
According to initial reports, the horrible road accident occurred between the Rekshaw and Troller on road due to heavy Fog and speed which caused four Women identified as Musamat Zainab Khatoon wife of Ladhal Shaikh, Musamat Fareeda w/o Kuraro Shaikh, Musamat Hajira w/o Yaral Shaikh and Musamat Najma w/o Ali Shaikh were killed on the spot. While the Rekshaw driver Aamir Jalbani, Waseem Shaikh and Musamat Shakeela Khatoon received serious injured.
As per local sources that after the heartbreaking road accident, the injured and deceased women were lying on road for more than one hour for help and succumbed to their injuries due to non availability of Ambulance and other relief support.
Later the dead bodies of deceased women of Shaikh community brought on private cattle vehicle (shahzor) to Madeji Hospital for Medico Legal formalities as usually.
Similarly injured Rekshaw driver and others were shifted to Government Hospital in Ambulance in precarious condition.
The ill-fated women were on their way from Ratodero to Sukkur for getting installments of their houses made by non-government organization (SRSO) as to re-build their houses.
The dead bodies of deceased women were handed over to their heirs after conducting autopsy from Government Hospital.
Area police took the ill-fated troller and Rekshaw in their custody and arrested the troller driver.
No FIR was registered till late evening of Tuesday.
