QUETTA: The central President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has categorically stated that the next Prime Minister of the country would be the person whom would be elected by the masses in elections. He said that if the people vote and elect Nawaz Sharif as next Premier then he (Nawaz) would definitely be the Prime Minister.
He said that it is mature approach and thinking of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to resolve the issues of Balochistan together with all stakeholders. He said that we have to develop the province and make it prosperous taking all stakeholders on board.
Shahbaz Sharif was speaking to the media persons soon after his meeting with the Chief of Sarawan and former Chief Minister, Nawab Aslam Raisani and Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani at Sarawan House on Wednesday morning.
Also present at the presser along with Shahbaz Sharif was Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani besides the PML-N senior leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, provincial President, Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhail and others.
The PML-N President on the occasion said that he has come to Sarawan House to invite Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani to join the PML-N. He said that with his (Lahskari) joining, the party would strengthen in the province and otherwise.
He said that Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Jaffar Mandokahil would settle the things while meeting with Lashkari Raisani.
He on the occasion also mentioned that ours relations with family of Lashkari Raisani are old as his father (Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani) used to stay at their home in Lahore in 70s.
He said that yesterday (Tuesday), several political elders joined the Party, and added that we would make politics source of public service and strengthening the country.
He also said that there are great services of Balochs, Pashtoons, settlers and Hazara community for the province and country, and we have to sort out the issues being faced by the province.
If there has been some badness in the province, then we have to mend it together.
He insisted that we have to resolve the economic and political issues of the province once came into power.
Referring the Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto’s assertions made in the media, Shahbaz Sharif said that he (Bilawal) is just like his younger brother. He has worked with him for 16 months, and instead of levelling allegations against each other, we have to move ahead with mature political approach, he maintained. In this regard, we also have to learn lesson from the past’s mistakes as it is not an appropriate to level allegations and make hue and cry, Shahbaz Sharif added.
To another query, the PML-N President said that we had saved the country from default, which it was when he had reigned the coalition government.
He said that we worked to save the country from being default, and saved it, and in this course, our political investment was also consumed.
Ultimately we saved the country from default spending out political capital, and now our politics would also be saved, he asserted.
He said by the core of his heart that Nawaz Sharif is a statesman politician, and he has the approach to resolve the real issues of the province and country.
Shahbaz Sharif also shared the initiatives taken by the coalition government under his leadership for the country and province.
However, he said that there used to be delay in making decisions during the then coalition government, which had positive and negative impacts on certain things.
He also referred certain measures that had been taken by Nawaz Sharif during his prime-minister ship for removing the backwardness of the province and for its development.
